I saw you at the Jazz Cafe on Christmas Eve, and just wanted to say thank you for a brilliant experience. I don't have a religious faith but, for me, the joy, warmth, power and beauty communicated through your music completely expresses all the positive aspects of being alive. It was spine-tingling, transcendent stuff. Great solo vocals (my personal favourite was Annette, I think?), fabulous harmonies and tight, funky band - loved the instrumental jam at the end of the set. You should have played all night! I'm sure you've heard all this before, just like you've performed 'Oh Happy Day' countless times, but hopefully you won't ever tire of people's appreciation of your music. Again, thank you!

Amazing. Saw the LCGC on Christmas Eve 2006 and loved every minute of it. I need to know, what's the name of the first song you sang after the mid way interval. I think it was called something like 'praise worthy'. It was beautiful. If anyone could let me know which album its on, that would be fantastic so I can buy it. Thank you very much. Peace

Woweeeeee you guys rock! Was at Jazz Cafe last night and you were stonking - especially the second half. Realling like the song 'keep moving' - especially fab but not quite so brilliant as Bazil singing "instead of begging" - wonderful! Keep it up.... you enliven and enrich so many lives with your work. Thank you.

Thanks for visiting our city. Your music is a leveller, wonderful, and inspiring. 'Something inside so strong' blew us out of the water, as did each and every member of the choir. Smiled alot when one of the choir said 'Its not a black or white thing, its a gospel thing' .
Will keep our eye out for future events.

Thought the concert at the Guildhall on 10th December was excellent. The only disappointment to our party and others we spoke to at the concert was the amount of time given to the ROLAND promotional shoot. Why did it need to be included in an otherwise fantastic programme?

I was at the wonderful show in Colchester last night with a friend. Wow! What a truly blessed evening. You all have so many gifts and a true love of the Lord. This radiates out from the stage and mingles with and encourages the 'audience'. The Holy Spirit was truly present last night. You will never know how much your music inspires everyone who hears you - but even if you reach one person at each gig it is worth it. The hightlights for me were the lovely lady singing 'Something Inside so Strong' - very moving; and Bazil singing "Instead of Begging" - absolutely awesome. :-// I pray your ministry will grow from strength to strength. Keep the faith and keep doing what you're doing. Bazil keep on witnessing, you are doing one great job! THANK YOU! :-)X

Just wanted to say that i was at the Electric Proms gig and your
performance was incredible. I noticed that the BBC cut it out of their
hour long broadcast so I left an annoyed message on the JB comments
page, But I doubt they will post it up.
Anyway, well done - great concert - great finale - and a day I'm sure

Hello there. I can't tell you how pleased I was to see you were coming to colchester in November and as it is reletivly close to me I immediatly went to book tickets. To my disappointment however - nearly all tickets had sold out, not quite leaving enough for all the people I had hoped to bring with me.

So i may look forward (and get in early!) to a performance in the future, could you possibly tell me if there are any more up and coming concerts in the East of England? I'd be particluary keen to go to one of you larger concerts - I've just LOVE to see your choir in its full and brilliant glory!

I can't wait to see you!

Woweee what a wonderful atmosphere you created at Great Dunmow last week. I was privileged enough to be in the congregation at this church and I must thank you profusely from the bottom of my heart. I especially loved the song near the end which moved me to tears - it was "There is a sweet anointing in the sanctuary". Is that song recorded please? I would love to get a copy. Praise God for your wonderful gifts, your warm embracing of the congregation and the magnificent way you include everyone in the singing. Thank you.

hey guys,
i've heard some of your stuff and you guys sound fantastic. My girlfirend really wants to join a gospel choir, she's just moved to north london (near camden). Not sure if she'd be good enough or committed enough to audition for the LCGC, but do you (or anyone reading this) know of any smaller oufits she might audition for? I can't find any info anywhere.
Thanks very much, Ian

Thanks for a great concert last night in Huddersfield, especially your first soloist... wow!
Please ask your sound engineer to stop putting pointless delay over most of the singing, it spoiled my enjoyment of the talent and made it hard to hear your singers with any clarity and made the sound overwhelming for the venue.

I attended your concert last night in Hudds. with some friends. It had some very good moment - would prefer to hear LESS - Lean on Me, Something in side so strong and This little light of mine and more GOSPEL songs (like the one song by the first soloist) - maybe also a few more instruments to accompany the choir! God Bless.

Praise the Lord for a wonderful concert tonight at LBT. I especially liked the opening number about the Holy Spirit and the "Jesus is Alive" number.

A truly joyous Spirit-filled evening.

I pray that the Lord will bring the words back to unsaved there tonight and bring each and every one of them into a relationship with our Lord and Saviour.

May the Lord continue to bless your Ministry and continue to provide you with such wonderful singers for years to come.

God bless you all.

 FAO: Revd Bazil Meade

Dear Reverend Meade

I booked tickets to attend a performance of LCGC at Fairfield Halls, Croydon on Thursday 26th October 2006. My Husband and I were very much looking forward to the concert as we had seen the Choir at the Barbican Centre two weeks prior. To our disappointment when the Choir appeared on stage, only 11 members walked onto the stage. As a disabled person who had to pay the full ticket price, we both felt cheated. The concert seemed to lack direction and enthusiasm and was advertised as a "30-strong choir". One member arrived on stage nearly half an hour late! We enjoy the music tremendously but have reservations about booking any future performances by the Choir especially if only 1/3 are performing. It is with sadness that I send this message but we will continue to follow the Choir's progress.
