May God continue to bless and refresh you as you walk and dance in triumphal procession with Him, spreading the aroma of Christ all around :-D

To all at LCGC
A little belated but no less heartfelt for that! Thank you all so much for the most wonderful weekend of training and singing. You pushed our voices and bodies and self-belief to places they have never been before but I hope they will continue to go to now that we are back to earth here in cornwall! Your support and encouragement were amazing and I was blessed in so many different ways. It's not alwyas easy to find God in the turmoil of everyday life, but he was with us in abundance in our time with you and I pray he continues to bless all the fantastic work and witness that you do. With love and thanks. Pippa.

Thank you so much for leading us in worship yesterday at The Crown Church in Hillingdon. You were such a blessing to us and it was such a joyful morning! It was such a great event to invite friends to and we had many many new visitors that we are praying will continue to come to church and hear more about Jesus.

I also want to encourage the people in your choir - everyone I met was so lovely, humble, and friendly. It was a real pleasure in every way to have you join us.

God Bless you and your work,

Dear Bazil, Yvonne & Travis,

Thank you so much on behalf of all at HCF for the wonderful Cathedral House Grand Opening Concert on Sunday 24th May. The general feedback was that it was absolutely fantastic.

Bazil as always you were an outstanding inspiration and it was great to see you leading the whole of Wembly in 'Abide With Me' last Saturday.

Travis you were a revelation - as one American lady put it - 'that man has rhythm in his nails!'

Yvonne thank you so much for sorting everything in the first instance. I hope you received the CDs.

Many blessings,

Andrew Ssali Kisumba

Hi Folks,
I'd like to say what a brilliant weekend we had with you last week. Our choir from Callington Cornwall learnt so much. You are excellent teachers - enthusiastic, talented, patient, organised, all we could have wished for in fact. Your singing on Saturday night was just superb, a wall of harmony. WOW! Bless you all.

Our training weekend with LCGC has been a transformational experience for everyone in our choir. We have all taken so much from our fantastic leaders that we will never sing the same way again. No kittens here! I have total respect for your wonderful choir; each and everyone of you has a rich passion that is so clearly communicated through the voice and expression of soul. It was a dream of mine to sing in a gospel choir and never did think that I would have the chance to sing with such wonderful people. Our time with LCGC has bonded us as a group, especially since most of us were able to participate thanks to an Awards for All grant of ยฃ7.5K, and now our choir will go on to the next level. We will find a way to lure LCGC down to the peninsula very soon because I already need a gospel top up! Thanks to everyone who made our fantastic training weekend a complete success and an unforgettable experience.

Hi LCGC, I am going to CCGC practice this evening with a great sense of excitement and anticiaption - even more than ususal. I have spent the last week singing in my sleep, at work, in the garden, even on the loo! I know, too much information!. What can I say that has not already been said by my fellow CCGC members? The whole weekend was a triumph. It was the most spiritually moving, challenging, amazing, and other superlatives ad infinitum. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, for your love, patience, care and expertise. May God continue to Bless you in all you do in the future by the measure you have blessed so many.

I was at Wembley on Saturday, and I have only just found out it was you guys gave us that wonderful rendition of Abide With Me. I am not a spiritual person, none of my friends are particularly religious, but all of us were moved and stunned by your performance. I'm still getting shivers up my spine recalling it. Wonderful. Many congratulations on your superb choir. If you're on tour up here, I'll try to catch you. Very best wishes.

Thanks for such a brilliant training weekend - you packed so much experience into such a short time for us - the singing, of course - but also the chance to perform in front of a gospel audience, which is so different from anything we're used to in Cornwall - and the church on Sunday morning - awesome! You've really shown us where we can aspire. Bless you. :-D

Hey, I'm a bunnyman for all of that which has been said.

This morning I'm feeding the chickens singing...

Saviour!!! (lots of diaphragm)
Jesus!!! (belly belly belly)
Glory!!!! (diaphragm, belly, duodenum, spleen and pan-cre-as!)

Shame we have no neighbours to hear it!

Bless you all - soft and loud!!

Hi lcgc: Terry Wogan played lcgc's 'Abide with Me' on BBC Radio 2 on Thursday or Friday morning (28,29th May). It was absolutely lovely! Terry himself gave a sigh of appreciation when it had finished playing: His sigh and slowly enunciated mention of: The.....London......Community.......Gospel...... Choir.........." clearly showed his deep appreciation of its uniqueness. It's the loveliest rendering I've ever heard. Let's have it on CD soon, please! Thanks for all the joy your inspired talent and genius brings to us all........ and, of course, not least of all....God bless. Dai, (Wales, UK)

Re: May 28-31st 2009 Callington Community Gospel Choir weekend with LCGC

Think you've touched our lives in so many ways and that we'll see the effects indefinitely and in ways we won't have expected.

So fantastic to have had such excellent tuition and to have had our choir nurtured so expertly.

Have totally failed to explain to my family what an amazing experience working with you has been. Just can't find the words to do the weekend justice. Hope they can see the difference at our next concert.

Was expecting to be impressed by your talent and your professionalism but have found your ministry so particularly inspiring and feel that we will go to perform our concerts with renewed vision.

God bless you all,

Thank you so much for the workshop it was truly wonderful, your tutoring was inspirational and you will not be surprised to know the choir was still singing on the way back to Cornwall.

To have experienced the wealth of talent at your concert and The Tabernacle was amazing and to have been part of it an honour. The welcome given to us by all we met was humbling, as was the love between you all.

You gave me, and others, the confidence to join in that singing whoeheartedly and for that we shall be for ever grateful.

God bless you all.

I came back with a brain like mush from the huge amount you taught us, but now staring to sort it all out, and know we will be able to pass it on everywhere we go to sing.
Particular thanks to Bazil, Gemma, Louise, Howard, and Wally. You were very patient to all these Cornish pussycats and are INSPIRATIONAL. Huge thanks and and God bless you all XXXXXXXX

Thank you especially to Gemma, Howard, Waleed, Louise and of course Bazil, who have made this weekend so incredibly special and precious. May you continue to be blessed in all you do.

Thank you for your pioneering work and your readiness to share it with others.

:) I should have done this a long time ago. If bazil is reading this I want him to know that when he came to Ghana he prayed for a young man at the British council hall that God will open his ears so he can hear musical sound thanks be to God this young man is now hearing, and has by the grace of God written a song for an artist in Ghana who is currently in London. The group I belong to is also preparing to record theirs and God has given me grace to write some of the songs we are recording.I trust God it will be on the international market soon. God BLESS YOU Bazil Meade and your entire team Amen.

Hi to all the group.

You made my day when you sang in the back stage dressing room of the Towngate in Basildon when you invited Chris Bowater on stage to sing with you. When you were back stage you sang 'O happy day' and at the time I was carrying my first child who still loves that song and loves Gospel. I am glad to see your success and pray that God continues to Bless you all in your singing.

Hope you dont mind me emailing you but I just wanted to say a very big Thank You to the members of the LCGC for a fantastic evening of music at the Wyvern Theatre here in Swindon last night (28 April) during the show 'The Songs of Sister Act'.

I had very mixed feelings going along to this show as was expecting it to be full of just music from Sister Act. But with the other Gospel Music added into the show as well, this really was a spiritual show. At times moving too.

I really did walk away from this show with something to think about. My Faith and relationship with God has been well, 'rocky' and have moved away from something I really strongly believed in once upon a time.

It really is amazing what Music can do for people. Here in Swindon we have a local Choir called the Kentwood Show Choir. The Musical Director used to be a Salvationist in the Salvation Army and her 'motto' for the Choir is... 'Music is a Fair and Glorious Gift from God'. How true is that!!

Thank You once again on a truly mad but fab and moving evening.
I hope it wont be too long before I can get to see the LCGC again..

Yours Faithfully,

Our daughter loved your concert, especially being able to hold the microphone and sing with you, she has been practising amen, and has even got the deputy head to find her the lyrics to Father Abraham so that she can sing to us all. Fantasic workshop and if you are able to come again we will all be there, especially Daisy. You made her day by saying you want to see her again, which she is telling everyone!!

My family and I had such wonderful fun at your concert in Hemel this week - thank you so much for coming, and for doing your bit to shed the inhibitions of the people of Hemel! Your skill and your joy in the music is so apparent. It was lovely to see the small children dancing. Many thanks once again.

Saw you in Jersey for the very first time, what a sound you make and so much energy. What I will remember is your impromptu singing of Happy Birthday for me at the end. Thank you so much for a memorable evening

Ah guys...what an AMAZING evening at the Island Hall tonight here in Sark, it was such a pleasurabe, uplifting & even PERSONAL (as there was no stage, you were on the 'same level' if you get me!) experience. Thankyou soooo much for bringing your magic here :-)X
I was the chap who sang Swing Low (had to beat box slightly, couldnt resit the rhythm hehe).
I wanted to say SO MUCH at the end, but was on 'another level' just to simlp speak, the power of music ay ;) But I have to say, singing with that little girl to you the end of the event was soooo overwhelming, glad we could give something back. What a spirit she is!!! We could all learn from that confidence! So much I wanna say now...typical!
I was hoping for you to sign the CD, but in a way I'm glad you didn't because the packaging is soooo beautiful, that art is SUBLIME! Frameable indeed. The experience alone is has been inscribed into my spirit :V)
Even without microphones, in fact, I doubt if you needed them at all as your voices were so POWERFUL! And to think you were just HALF (poss less than) of the collective? Sound carries well in that hall! Need a better sound system though (in time)? Im sure we will see you again someday!

One for TJae...NICE 1 :) Liked how you hands danced with prestine orchistration, I was captured with each wave of the hand...good directing! :-//

Hard to express, but tonight was a night that has implanted a memory I shall NEVER lose...THANKYOU!

Thank you for your music on Tuesday night in Guernsey. I was really impressed with the way that you opened the evening stating your faith and why you sing. You always exude energy and passion for what you do. I also love how you get the audience involved with the music but would also love to hear more of your repertoire. I am sure that the children in the afternoon enjoyed it too. Hope the trip to Sark went well and the boat journey was not too unpleasant! God bless.

I saw your concert last night at St James, Guernsey and can most definitely say it is one of the most outstanding concerts I have ever had the pleasure of attending. :-)X Your vocal harmonies are superb. A very emotion filled concert, you all show a great deal of faith and belief in what you are singing and that is passed onto the audience. I very much hope you will return to the island again soon. A thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyable evening out, Guernsey needs to see more of you guys! All the very best
